It's been fascinating to work on this series of Collage Hares, giving me so much freedom to choose the colours and make the printed paper to use for the cutouts. Pastel on paper 76x56cms, framed This is a Puffin from my recent trip to the Farne Islands off the coast of Northumberland. He was carefully guarding the eggs in his burrow and giving me quite a stern look.
To my great delight this summer, shrews have been coming into the studio while the door is open (along with birds, bees, butterflies and dragon flies.) I hope this means I have a healthy population of them in my garden. Pastel 42x29.5cms Unframed
