Wildlife Collections

I have been drawing animals and birds for many years.  Their beauty and the perfection of their design impels me to record them. But what I also admire is their steadfastness in the face of often challenging odds, and of course their vulnerability in the face of human-provoked destruction and persecution. We need these animals and birds for our survival.

My images are mainly large, close-up and unadorned by background or setting: I want the viewer to see and reflect on nothing but the subject.
