This blue tit fledgling came into the house and exhausted itself trying to find an exit. It allowed me to pick it up and carry it outside where it sat for ages on my hand staring at me quizzically before flying off.

Bees! In danger!

It was heartening to see so many bees in the studio last summer as their numbers are steadily dropping. The Govt. has now gone back on its ban of bee-killing pesticides and they are once again permitted. This is a tragedy.
